Lauren Conrad Hates Dogs

At the Paws for Style Event, Lauren Conrad let down the charity by refusing to close the show even after she had been flown out first class to New York by the Humane Society and Animal Fair magazine.

Reportedly, L.C. was feeling uncomfortable from the get-go when she couldn’t identify the kind of dog she was carrying, fielding questions about her castmates on The Hills (most specifically about their feuds). She even accidentally smacked her dog into a camera lens on the red carpet and left the event without walking down the runway, as she had agreed to do.

According to Wendy Diamond, the editor-in-chief of Animal Fair, “Her publicist didn’t tell her it was a fashion show. That’s what she said. I just think it’s really impolite.” She probably just didn’t like the fact that the dog she escorted was dressed better than she was in her own lame designs.

Gotta love the woman decked out in black, who looks more like a Cruella de Vil than an animal lover. The photo agency says her name is Maria Kanellis and I could Google her to figure out what she does, but I prefer to believe that she is a widow many times by, living off the estates of her late husbands, each of whom met with untimely, mysterious demises.
